Join Dow Gardens beekeepers and friends for some lively discussions on seasonally relevant beekeeping topics such as: preparing for winter, varroa mites, swarm management, equipment, bee health…and more.

This is a great opportunity to network, learn new things, and share your experiences as a beekeeper. We welcome novice and experienced beekeepers in this group. Article selections will be shared in advance of each session. Your ticket for this includes a beverage from the café.

The topic for May will be SWARMS, how to be prepared, unique homemade equipment to help and other aspects for discussion. We will be discussing two articles. One from the May 2025 issue of American Bee Journal entitled: Simple Homemade Implements to Make Swarm Catching Easier and More Versatile. The second article is from the April 2025 edition called April is a busy month. If you do not have access to the articles, please let us know and we will loan you a copy.
