NEW FLEXIBLE SCHEDULE FORMAT (while the information above states Tuesday at 10AM each week, you garden the day and time that is most convenient for you):
Join our garden’s staff as you grow your own delicious
summer fun. Be a part of an eight-week, award-winning children’s gardening
program. This year’s format will include: a weekly, short video lesson (which
can be viewed at home or on your device in the garden) about an educational
topic related to gardening such as insects, weeds, worms and parts of a plant).
You will plant your garden and tend it at your convenience each week.
Garden
staff will be available designated days/hours to assist. Children’s admission
is included with class tuition, at least one adult must attend each week with
the student(s) to assist in their garden tasks. Adults must have an annual
admission card ($20) and check in each week.
Attendance the first two weeks is
mandatory and will be by appointment to get the garden plots planted and
scarecrows created. $45.00 registration fee per family. At least one
child in the family must be 4 years or older for the family to participate.
Adult supervision required. Spaces are limited.
